ST CHRISTOPHER's and ST. WILFRID'S

Please let Colin have any application forms for our church secondary schools. As usual, Colin or Chris will call on anyone who submits a form - for St Wilfrid's he wishes to call in week commencing 16 October, so please be prompt. St Christopher's is less urgent, but he needs your form by 31 October    .PS St Christopher's have written to encourage parents to apply, even if they don't manage four times a month attendance - there is still a good chance of your child getting a place.

As the work on the nave roof is now almost complete,  subject to a final sign-off, I am hoping that the scaffolding can be removed towards the end of this week. It will, of course, remain in situ on the north aisle David
