Worship and Celebrate

Please click here for information on baptisms, weddings, and funerals.

Sundays at 8.30 am (for 45–50 minutes)

Quiet Communion A reflective service using a modern language form ("Common Worship Order 1") with a sermon; children and young people are welcome, but there is no special provision for them.

Sundays at 10.00 am (for 60–75 minutes)

Celebration Communion A less formal service for all ages using a modern language form ("Common Worship Order 1") with a sermon and hymns, songs, and Communion music (a mixture of traditional and modern).

On the 3rd Sunday of each month, this service becomes our All-Age Communion and Parade service, with a shortened service, an interactive address for all ages, and (mostly) modern music
Once a month, usually on the 1st Sunday, we have a service without Communion called Word Alive. In some months this involves our schools.

There are "church bags" for younger children, to help them feel involved, and a crèche facility for when they need a break. We are redeveloping our provision for children and young people; they are also welcome to our midweek Smartie Club Time Out Club and Youth Group.

Wednesdays at 10.00 am (for 40 minutes)

Quiet Communion Similar to Sunday, but with a smaller congregation; coffee is served afterwards. Every 2-3 weeks (in term time) a class from one of our schools attends and we use a slightly simplified service.

Weekday Prayers (please use extension door)

Morning Prayer - Mondays (not Bank Holidays), Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8.30am

Evening Prayer - Thursdays at 4.30pm, using the Book of Common Prayer

20-minute services including Psalms, Bible Readings and Prayers; please check the weekly notice sheet in case of cancellations.
